Glad I'm not in a hurry!

Post by olyinaz »

Dear Matt Olson,

The status of your order has been changed.

New Status: Processing

Our comments to you are:

Though we have a high order volume here at Ammo To Go, we have a real time inventory system. If you were able to purchase your product we do have it here at our warehouse. The delay is not a stock issue. We have the product(s) you purchased available for shipping. However, presently we are receiving more orders than we can physically process without some delay in shipping. If we see that there is going to be an issue fulfilling your order, you will be notified by phone or email at that time. If you do not hear from us, you can rest assured your order is in line to be shipped. Thank you for your order. At present, your order should ship between Mar 11th and 14th. It is our goal to provide excellent service to our customers. So, we are working hard to meet the demand with additional shifts, days and manpower. If you have any questions you can reply to this email. Your patience is greatly appreciated! Thanks again for your business and have a great day!!! - Cristela

Blaine,
I managed to get 3 boxes of 308/150 grain Hornady from Cheaper Than Dirt. $100.?? with shipping. Now if I just had some brass. Some on order off the net but has been on order for 2 weeks now. They said they had it in stock but when I called the guy said he got in a bad batch that was mangled too bad to sell. Oh well, I've got a few that I'll load today.

I've ordered from Ammo to Go physically in person at their facility.

They're not slow. Placing my order (by computer, same as you would do, just there) I had around 3,000 rounds in hand between me and the guy with me in less than 20 minutes and we didn't order till we arrived there. The buying insanity of the last few months has hit them hard, they really 'are' slowed down by how much paperwork they are wading through.

The gunstore next door (on the same property) is quite impressive in it's selection in normal times as well.

Took about a month for my order through them as well. I ordered first week of Jan and got the order first week of Feb.
Even they are getting low on just about everything.
Unless you have a 7.62x54R and want corrosive ammo, then you can get 440rds for less than a c-note.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error.
