I'd love to, but I'm in IL and that makes it really hard.

Ricky,
I'm still off, now the "crud" is gone, but the weather is nice enough for a little "farmin'" and I'm going to catch up on the mowing over the next coupla days. I can't commit, but I'll definitely be there if I'm in town.

Sounds like a good time. I'm up for it.

Ricky, when I developed the pic from the hog hunt, I found some pics of the Linebaugh shoot from last year, still in the camera.

Ricky
I think I can make it. Joe, if those paper plates charge then I better change by brand of coffee for something safer. I'll bring the carbine and the pistol both chambered for the .480, and I have a .45lc with some moderately heavy loads that is fun to shoot. I also have a Rock Island Armory 1911 clone that is a lot of fun. It isn't going to be like Joes Glock, but it is a lot of fun.

That's a 'bit too fer piece' for me that weekend. I do appreciate the invite, though. My pop lurks around on this site occasionally - might point him that way, if you don't mind. He's a bit closer.

Hey this great, starting to get a pretty good list together.

neil mitchell, hope to see you here. I knew a Mitchell that was in the navy and stationed at NAS JAX in the early 80's. He was from down your way. Any kin to you?

Griff, I'm just now getting over this crud also, man it is persistent. I have several things I've got to get done around here now that the weather is getting nice. Sure do hope you can make it.

86er, Always a pleasure to have you over.

crs, hope you can make it, you've got neat toys. :D And your a good man. Even if you don't share your whiskey.

BrainSH look forward to seeing you again, bring those pics.

RSY, dude you don't have to resort to name calling :D

JI, Start with the back stroke and we'll see you here.

JP_TX Carrollton is plenty close. Come on over and I hope you have a good time.

Texican, sorry you can't make it but, tell your dad to come on over.

The 29th is getting closer and it was pointed out to me that I have not set a start time. How does 10:00 am til whenever sound? Does that work for everybody? Of course you can show up at a later or earlier time if you want.

2row, Bring what ever you want, it doesn't have to be a levergun. We can shoot out to 200 yards but, most will probably be shorter. It will be very informal with no real agenda, although I have a few things set up for us.

Ricky:

I'll be there. I am bringing the .480 carbine with almost 200 rounds, some .45lc with 340 grain lead wfn bullets I loaded up and want to try. What do you think? If 86er can get those paper plates to charge, then he has a trick up his sleeve I haven't seen before. After I think about it, charging paper plates might be fun.

Hmm, this just might be feasible for me, at 290 miles. My Father-in-law has become our child, if y'all know what I mean, but if the wife thinks can handle the home front herself, I might be able to run up there for the day, as I could get back in 4.5 hours if needed. Would it be feasible to bring a dog or two? I could keep them crated or on leash the whole time. Edited to add: Will Verizon or Sprint mobile phones work up there? No, I don't like to yak, but would need to be in contact with la Esposa.

Piller, Sounds like your ready to go. I don't want to let the cat out of the bag but, I've been working all day and have the charging target covered :D

Rexter, would like to have you come, If your phone doesn't work here you can give your wife my number to call. I use ATT so don't know how well the rest work. Dogs are always welcome!

FWiedner, sorry you have to work. But it sounds like you need to get your priorities right :D . I hope to be able to do this again in the fall. Maybe you can come then, I would enjoy meeting you.

The shooting starts tomorrow and I'm excited :D ! Hope everyone can make it. In case anyone needs further directions or has questions my cell phone # is 214-549-5217. I have a gas grill we can use for lunch or if anyone wants to go out for food towns not far away. If you want to bring something we can throw it on the grill. I'll have bottled water on hand for everyone. I have a few targets, deer silhouettes, cape buffalo prints, some bulls eyes, clay pigeons, and some one gallon jugs we can fill with water and make a mess. BrianSH is also going to bring some jugs.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Thanks Ricky, it was a great time. The charging target was great. The Krodle Safari Trainer should be patented. What do the rest of you who were there think? 86er, I told my daughter about the trophy elk you are saving for her and she yelled loud enough that I think you may have heard it.
