At a gun auction last night.

Post by WCF3030 »

Basically if it was a semi-auto pistol, even a Raven or High-Point they went for $300+!!
Stainless S&W 357's & 38's in excellent condition all went for $250 and less.
Pump tacticle looking shotguns all went for top dollar.
A stainless used mini-14 with a couple of 75rd drums went for $1150.
All of the AR's Del-Ton's did not sell, bidding started at $2000.

I was there for the 6.5x54 MS brass for my Manlicher and 300pc's of used brass went for $240!!

There was a M1 carbine in 9mm that looked neat but also went for over $600.

I've attached a link in case anyone wants to look.

No I did not.
I can get loaded ammo for less than that and keep the brass.
When I mentioned that to the buyer, he told me I was full of it.

I would have bought several

So there IS still SOME sanity in the black rifle world. Those are about a $500 gun depending on model. I would not want one around my house in case someone might actually need one for their defense.
