I've been saying to myself for months that what this place really needs is a few more chest-thumpin' authority figures.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

All I know for sure is beware of who is buying your drink. One might end up with a hangover in the hold of a tramp steamer and signed on for the entire voyage...

I think this Moderator idea is great. Hobie can use the help.

As long as they don't make the guy that out and out lied about the dual Ruger 10-22 setup being illegal in CA (you know who you are) a moderator, I'm good with whoever (or is it whomever) is selected as a moderator.

Every other forum I belong to has moderators. It's just something that is needed on a forum this size.

Raise your hand and you can also turn green. If we all do it , there will be no need for anyone to do it.
