Photo of a new elusive creature

Post by hondo1892 »

Ever see a Cuger before? A Colt slide and Ruger frame. Yea I know this set up won't work because the side is from an 80 series and frame is a 70 series but I like the two-tone. :D

Looks good to me, but I'm sure some purist somewhere is throwing up right now. I personally would probably like the opposite better, stainless slide on blued frame.

I believe I've seen several such creatures, from the "toy" sizes they speak about dog breeds, to minatures and standard sizes! Light over dark and dark over light. Or as some might say, "tobiano" and "overo". Photobucket isn't cooperating today... otherwise I'd post pictures!

I like the stainless where your hand would be and maybe sweat from CCW, but the slide a nice low-reflection black or blue color...

Griff, I used to raise some paint horses, I never really had a preference between the them, both are good looking. BUT, I like my guns blue with walnut.
