squirrel

Post by Mescalero »

I have a squirrel in my shed in the backyard, he is looks like dirty grey in color, looks pretty big to me.
He is driving the dogs nuts.
What kind of squirrel is he, should I use a center mass chest shot?

If the shed needs some work, use a cannon that'll take out both.

BTW - IMO, Squill has no taste / tastes like cardboard , but will take on whatever it's flavored with - not my fave to eat.

Sorry, that's my favorite line from a Bill Mauldin cartoon where Willie is about to shoot a rat with a 1911.

I think we had this discussion a year or two back.

That is a Rock Squirrel , he has a hole under your shed.

You could always gas him.

Or if you are in a sporting mood run the water hose in his hole and stand by with ye old shovel. :)

This is Phoenix, and my next door takes irrigation.
For that reason I built the shed on pallets, you should see all the dirt he has put IN the shed.

Here's what not to do.

My Grandfather had a big problem with woodchucks in his great , big, 150 year old barn.
One day he spots a big old 'chuck run down a hole and has this great idea.
He went into the tool shed and grabs a road flare. Lights it and tosses it down the hole.
About thirty seconds after he threw it down the hole a great, big and flaming woodchuck
comes flying out of the hole. Running here and tharn all over the barn while lighting
small fires, Grandpa is chasing said woodchuck with a shovel ( at 91 !). putting out flames.
He finally gives up an gets back to the tool shed grabs his barn gun ( Savage .22) and
whacks the flaming woodchuck! Put out the last of the fires and has a long rest in the
hay bin. When I herd this story I was laughing so hard I couldn't see. Grandpa was
embarrassed but was laughing with the rest of us.

Sure miss that tough old Kraut!

Probably is if you didn't do the other one in.

You could always live trap him, might take a little time but you could do it.

Then turn him loose at the PHY Zoo

RPG?

Best to be sure, after all!

Y2K and I have used, to great effect, the Stoeger X-20 Supressor model .22-caliber pellet rifle. Quiet enough to use in town, in a suburban neighborhood. Little tree rats have invaded our attic, so they are fair game - all the time.

Eat some beans, fried onions, and broccoli, wait about an hour and then go gas him out. Take the dead thing to the food bank where the beaners can barbecue him while listening to salsa music.-----------6
