Corrosion protection product

These operate on the "vapor phase" property discussed previously. Look at the two "tab" products - they look like they would be perfect for die set boxes and other small containers.

I don't have a problem with corrosion in AZ, but why run the risk? I've ordered some of the yellow tabs from Amazon and will pop one in each of my die set cases. Probably my tool boxes as well and I'll find some other uses.

Basically, those bits of oily/waxy cardboard that you see in every RCBS and Horndady die set (maybe Lyman too)? That stuff. And the paper that wraps many guns as shipped. The product (paper or plastic) out gasses and deposits a very thin waxy coating on whatever is near, thus providing corrosion protection.

Or at least that's how I unnerstand it... :?

Only howsoever a sock is like a bit of cardboard.

I don't mind nipping a bit of something into each of my die set cases, but I do mind the thought of storing all of my dies in a sock. That's how I keep my cash - I don't want to get confused.
