OT- BillCosby, on human behaviour

Post by gundownunder »

I received this in an Email this morning and thought it was worth sharing.

'They're standing on the corner and they can't speak English. I can't even talk the way these people talk:

Why you ain't,
Where you is,
What he drive,
Where he stay,
Where he work,
Who you be...

And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk.
And then I heard the father talk.

Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can't be a doctor with that kind of stuff coming out of your mouth.

In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living.

People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an Education, and now we've got these knuckleheads walking around.

The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal.

These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids. $500 sneakers for what ? ?

And they won't spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics.

I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing there in an orange suit.

Where were you when he was 2 ? ?
Where were you when he was 12 ? ?
Where were you when he was 18 and how come you didn't know that he had a pistol ?
And where is the father ? Or who is his father ?

People putting their clothes on backward:
Isn't that a sign of something gone wrong?
People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn't that a sign of something ?

Or are you waiting for someone to pull his pants up ?

Isn't it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up and got all type of needles [piercing] going through her body?

What part of Africa did this come from??

We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don't know a thing about Africa

With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and all of that stuff.....
and all of them are in jail.

Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person's problem.

We have got to take the neighborhood back.

People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight different 'husbands' -- or men or whatever you call them now.

We have millionaire football players who cannot read.

We have million-dollar basketball players who can't write two paragraphs. We, as black folks have to do a better job.

Someone working at Wal-Mart with seven kids, you are hurting us.

We have to start holding each other to a higher standard.

We cannot blame the white people any longer.'

Dr. William Henry 'Bill' Cosby, Jr., Ed.D.

Yes but he DID draw comments from the BLACK LEADERS when he made those statements.

I was listening to an all night talk show that originates in New York City. Talk show host Joey Reynolds says he lives in Harlem and I have no reason to doubt him. He said one time he asked one of da brothers why he drove a nice car and lived in a junk house? The guy looked back at him and said, "well man ya know I can always sleep in my car, but I can't drive ma house."

I'm sick of their whole culture. A "wolf pack" of these five animals killed a decent hardworking white guy in Philly the other day. They ganged up on him and beat him to death. The cops caught four of them and guess where they picked them up at? In school---the oldest was 16------------Sixgun

Cosby should be hailed by all for his comments. They are often their own worst enemy, and he has the courage to say it - and, of couse, is catching all kinds of flack for it... :(

I would have shot his sorry *** and not thought twice about it. People like this don't deserve to walk the streets.

Because BLACK LEADERS love to have people who can't think right to lead
around and tell them what to say and do and prey on their fears of "white America"
so they can line their pockets with money. Actually they are not leaders, there
are a lot of REAL BLACK LEADERS out there but their voice is never heard,
they are called "intolerant" and "heartless".

Don't feel sorry for a woman (any race) with five kids from different men. She
has made decisions to put herself where she is. She should be made to feel
shame for her actions and younger folks should bear witness to her shame so
they will do their best to not repeat such actions. If she can't control her impulses
a rubber can go along way to keep her from ending up in such a place. 99 cents.

People love it when a person feels sorry for them and promises to make
things alright. They eat it like candy. Ask any socialist leader who came to
power.

If you tell someone to "walk straight" you get accused of stepping on their
rights.

If you hand people money for no other reason than they exist, well then,
you are creating a problem. All because you wanted to "feel good" about yourself.

You can't write a law about "not being a scumbag" and "by law" you can't
correct a persons detrimental effect on the society "you" have to live in.

"A nation of laws", not helpful if people learn how to twist them for their own
selfishness.

When laws trump morals......

This is the world we live in today and it has gone past the point of no return.
It will be ridden to it's final conclusion.

Cosby has as long as I can remember, has been a lightning rod.
That is as it should be, he does not shrink from the truth.
As , with all of us; he is less than perfect,
but I would rather engage with a realist, than an idealist

I honestly believe there's a certain segment of the black population, and a sizable one at that, that's not inclined to look at themselves being the problem, & accept the responsiblilty to make changes in the way they live, cause they think that racist/extortionist Jesse Jackson is gonna squeeze the American government, that's you & me, BTW, out of billions of dollars in "reparations" & they're gonna get a cut of the action, so they have to continue to go along with the "victim" mentality in the hope it'll come true for them. jd45

I suggest the book "Scam" by Jesse Lee Peterson. It's all about the black "leaders" that are "helping" the black community. He has that quote from Cosby in the book.

I think I've mentioned before that there were a lot of Black Men I knew in
the Corps that I would gladly spend my last moments with in a fox hole.

But the overall question of racial relations goes way beyond that. Most people
don't like to hear it but there is a percentage of Black, White, Asian and all
the others that want nothing to do with each other.

For the sake of discussion let's keep to just black and white and make it even
also, not that anyone could really tally the numbers accurately.

So we will assume that 25% of both the black and white population want absolutely
nothing to do with the other race. Should they be forced to in a free society?
Is forced integration as bad as forced segregation? Some would say so.

If you force someone to do something they don't believe in does anyone
really think you are not going to end up with an angrier person as a result?

Racial tolerance has to be learned not forced.

I agree completely, I played a lot of basketball over the years, and some of the guys I got close to happened to be black. Great guys over all, worked hard and treated everyone the same. Met a couple of black folks though that just hated whites though. Wanted NOTHING to do with white folks, felt like black and white should stay as far away from one another as possible. Have known a few white folk that are the same. In a truly free society you would have the right to associate, do business and pretty much everything else with who you wanted, and no-one else. You can make all the laws you want, force people to ACT a certain way in public, but the human heart and mind will always do it own thing.

Hmmmm.........

Mebbe the Republicans would have the gonads to ask Cosby to be McCain's vice-presidential candidate....

Nah - they want to put in the liberal-the-media-calls-'conservative' (because he's slightly to the right of Obama on a few issues) named Romney.
