Re: Henry rifle article on internet
There are things about the centerfire Henrys that I really don't care for, and I prefer a Winchester design over them. I am a little annoyed by their advertising claiming that they were founded by Henry himself. If they had loading gates, I would be much more likely to own one.
But I admire their commitment to producing rifles in the US. If they can build a quality rifle in the US, so could other manufacturers, if they really wanted to.
I also really like their rimfires.

Re: Henry rifle article on internet
I have done action work on several of the Big Boys. They are really well made. So, I bought one of the 22 cal Lever Action Octagon Rifles for myself.
Neat little gun with some forward weight to stead up nicely.
