OT- Best Combo!!
This one's definately a keeper! Traded up as far as I can go
Took this about a year ago. Just playing around. She wouldn't shoot the 12ga but thought it was cool.

Even if she doesn't want to shoot the 12 gauge (I can't say that even as a certified 'gun nut' I always enjoy shooting a Mossberg Persuader), be sure she gets into shooting something.
My wife was fine with the occasional family picnic outing and shooting a .22, until one night someone tried to mess with her on the way home, and although she did just fine handling things, she wanted (for the first time) to shoot something POWERFUL vs. 'little self-defense guns.' It was 1 a.m. but we lived in the country and our only neighbor was my mother, so I called her to warn her there might be a little 'noise.'
Hip-shooting a Garand into an empty hillside backstop just made her somehow 'feel better' - something I'd never have gotten her to do before that, but the seeds were planted when we started with the .22LR years before that.

I don't really care to shoot those pistol griped shotguns myself. I'd say she's a right smart lady.
One thing I have learned about women and guns. When they say they like something encourage what they like. Don't try to use logic to explain to them why they should like something else.
My wife wouldn't have a S&W M60 because she didn't like it's looks. She was fine with a Charter Arms Undercover 38 though. Don't argue with it, feed it.
