Yep miss his posts too... I think he provided folks from other environs with an idea of the challenges of deer hunting here in California ... Heat...Long ranges... Like canyon to canyon shots & then getting the Buck in the FWD... and when it breaks down... RIP

A good man indeed. I dealt with Mike several times through the classifieds on this forum. I was trying to arrange a meeting with him at one of the northern California guns shows, but Mike had become too ill to make any more shows.

Nice man, kindly sold me hard to get accessory for my Winchester 71, think of him every time I take the rifle out. Felt like he was passing the torch. Peace and beauty I am sure surrounds him.

While I never met him face to face, his presence was always positive. You're missed Mike.

I'd like to add one thought. On the various forums I've participated I've met some outstanding people. Folks I wouldn't have been able to communicate with otherwise. As some of these have passed I'm gladdened when I see just how many others they have touched in a positive way. We miss them when they are gone, but we've had great enjoyment in knowing them.

I'm a better person for knowing them.
