A good assortment of thunder sticks again Nath...variety is the spice of life they say
I have put pay to five squirrels in the last couple of days, all but one sniped from my bedroom window.

Great pics yet again, Nath - I sorta wish we had a rabbit infestation here (they've been scarce, what with intense home development here).

Re: Hunting photos again.
I'm sure you guys remember my squirrel relocation tally last year...90! Well, I'm running a little behind this year......my 6 month total, 39!! The rabbit population is abundant, too; 5 or 6 running around in my back yard all the time. A little one ran out of my garage this morning. They're all over the place. (Got two big coons last week and a little one two days ago. Got one more little one to get)Nath wrote:Good for you John.

We had a abundance of hawks a few years ago, one setting on a utility pole every quarter mile or so. I guess the hunters thought that was way too many because the pheasant count was way down, (I thought it was due to two or three bad winters and wet springs about 10 years ago) so they cleaned house, even though they are protected. Must have been something to it because the pheasants are returning in pretty good numbers and I see quail on occasion. And rabbits are abundant in the countryside as well.
So, if you're needing squirrels or rabbits, bring a box and I'll load you up.......slowly!

Really enjoying your post Nath. Happy to see Jess too since I'm sad about loosing my Walker 'coon hound. He just disappeared a couple of days ago. I'm guessing someone picked him up as he is a friendly type and will just jump in your car or truck to enjoy a ride.

This is really classy. Reminds me of the Gentlemen Hunters I've seen pics of from a hundred, or more years ago.....

I can't get over the size of those rabbits. If you could tame down about 8 of those, you could pull a sled in the Iditarod.....
Nice shooting with the old time armament.

Enjoyed those photos, Nath. I've never heard of a .63 before. Glad there is one!
