I would like to test a fairly heavy load with my old Winchester 94 32 Special, made in 1903.
It has the special 32 special sight and is in very good condition. I have the Cody letter on
it. Would love to find a load that I could feel confident with for a moose this fall. I just had
my gunsmith clean it up and check it out, he believes it is in excellent condition. I have some
170 gr. .323 Beartooth Bullets, cast, with gas check. Anyone had any experience with this
bullet in a 32 special?

Not that bullet but the Lyman 321297 and a NOE 323 180 gr. I load them over 27.5 gr of 30-31 or 25 of Reloader 7. Both loads shoot around 1900-2000 fps and could be heated up if I wanted.
I bet no moose would walk away from that bullet at 2000 more than 100 yards.
