Re: Peter Martin
Pete was a good dude. I remember the camp out that we all attended...CAS, Uncowboy, Pete, Doc O.Meara.....dang, why can't I remember the others.....help out CAS!!!!
Pete and I went on to become friends, in fact he became friends with all of the guys at Sixgunner. He came on down from NY to attend some of our good gunshows with me as NY gunshows were...you know....NY gunshows. The last time together, Pete bought a decent 1873 in 44. After the tragedy, I reminded his wife that Petes guns were valuable.........she assured me that Pete's sons would get them all. He had a beautiful family, raised them well and talked about them all the time.
In those days we used to "instant message" through AOL and on the evening on that nasty day, Pete did not respond....I just knew something bad had happened.
I've despised those Arabs ever since, realizing that not just a few of them were bad, but a whole lot of them.
This is on my gun safe and I see his picture everyday......it's a great reminder to those sub humans who took his life.
RIP Pete----6
Here's another one of Pete with "the Creeker" on the right.

Re: Peter Martin
Not to drift too far off, but we've lost at least five people from that trip (not counting Steve and Frank Wicen)
Pete, Doc, Frank, Jim (Deaf Smith) and Jeff (Ravenwolf).
(Who else was there? Dale, Matt, Cyrus, Sam.... mmm...)

Re: Peter Martin
CAS,
My BIL, Bill was there. Dang! I heard about Jeff but Deaf Smith too? Yea, the Wicens were ancient back then. Heck, it's not as if it was 50 years ago for so many to pass over the Great Divide. My BIL is still with us, me, you, Dale, Mike, (Uncowboy) the Creeker, Matt, Cyrus (can't remember him at the first one). Hey! How about the drunk at the campfire? Don't remember his name but I still have his picture.
You still driving the old Ford LTD? ---6
