Neat stuff, including the chest!

I have my granddaddy's Old Timer, which he carried when I was a very small boy. Shrade Walden. When did they drop Walden?
Have you hugged your rifle today?

That chest came full of old TV tubes from a yard sale the brass handles from ebay and the eagle i found in some junk.but everything fit without any hole drilling at all .the holes for the handles were in there and the handles i bought fit perfectly.
I get lucky like that a lot.

Boy that just reminded me of my Dad he always carried a Tree Brand. Funny note many of the younger men I work with carry a pocket knife, I would feel naked without one.

I almost lost my trigger finger when my Barlow went shut while was making arrows for a bow i made at 5 or 6.so i hardly cary 1 kept getting to hot in my pocket when i worked at the glass factory.a zippo would leak fluid when they got hot in there too.and your leg would be red + hurt for weeks.

thats why i post a lot of my pictures of my junk to get people thinking back to happier times.and telling there stories too.

wish digital cameras were made sooner,i have had and traded off old cars, tractors and things for 50 years with no pictures of anything.

To appease my inner 6-year-old, I still have a couple of cigar boxes full of knives, military and Scout badges, marbles, silver dollars, stamps, arrowheads, that kind of thing. Sure wish Mom hadn't thrown out my shoe box full of baseball and football cards, though.

Love the old pocket knives. I collect pocket knives. Mostly Case knives but appreciate other good brands also. Nice collection you have here.

I bought a old tin box at a yard sale for 50 cents and got home found $4.00 in change a old 1923 nickle a $25 case knife and a bunch of nice old key chains and other goodies in it.went back and spent $20 and filled the car with stuff stopping along the way home and gave most of it to my kids and grand kids and the wife grabbed the rest.had like 5 sewing kits boxes of markers 100 new pencels sizzers paper punched staplers kids craft kits all new never used junk. we all had fun that day.
