Thanks Tycer!
There are some very cool people around here!
Tycer asked me to send along an extra 10 Ga. shell and this is what he sent back!
I have to dig out those old straight razors now.

Now that's a cool shaving brush. Use it or just display it. I'd choose the latter because my hands have started shaking a little too much for a straight razor. One of the pleasures of getting old.

Re: Thanks Tycer!
Tycer-- are those bristles of badger hair or what? How are they secured in the case? Very nice job.

Yes sir. These: http://www.ebay.com/itm/150819892249?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT These are very good quality knots.Batman1939 wrote:Tycer-- are those bristles of badger hair or what? How are they secured in the case? Very nice job.
They are glued in with polyurethane glue. I put an inch of knead-type epoxy in the base end for weight and a place to anchor an eyelet if desired.
This is my grandfather's blade and the brush I kept.
Kind regards,
Tycer
