Any Idea what it Rifle it's for, Looks like it's notched for a 22lr sized bullet.
It's a REDFIELD with a ' 75 ' stamped on bottom,All steel, well made..

[I remember that they had a winchester Bolt in 22lr, I thought it was
a Model 70, Didn't look like the 75]
Winchester made a bunch of .22 boltguns, besides the M-75: IIRC, the M-52, M-56, M-67, M-69, & more
[Was There a Model 70 in 22lr,] - Nope
[And, Is the scope mount worth anything ????] - Only $5-10, IMO - unless you really, really, really want a period-looking piece

Huh? Maybe I'm just tired, but did that make sense to anyone else?oldmax wrote:Looks like it's notched for a 22lr sized bullet.
The thinness of the rings seems to imply that it was made for a rimfire. But, then, Leupold makes those ones where the top of the ring is just sheet metal.

It makes sense to me, since I figured oldmax was referring to the .22LR-sized loading/ejection port, obviously towards the side of a receiver with a long front receiver ring (because the mount holes are so far forward of the clearance cut for the port).
Model 67's, 69's & 75's all shared the same receiver - the only differences IIRC being fit/finish, magazines, barrels, sights & stocks.
My Model 52 is a little different in the rear of the receiver - but the front ring's almost the same, too.

Oh, okay, NOW I gotcha!
Anyways, I was showing my wife where the boy dinged my gun, while pointedly thumbing through the midsouth catalog, and saw those very rings. Page 31 in the current catalog. They're Burris brand. Order number 023-420071 Other numbers, also, but that oughta pull up a picture.
They start at $15 and change. The base will run about the same.
