Watching the remake of Death Wish.
The Bruce Willis remake. When he was with his Father In Law at the farm after the funeral, the FIL shot at some poachers with a levergun. When levering it, no brass came out, and the FIL never put his cheek to the stock. Why doesn't HollyWeird ever get a real gun guy for an advisor anymore? They want us to watch the show, but they make it where we don't want to watch it.

Re: Watching the remake of Death Wish.
Problem is, way too many of today’s movie-watchers are people who have never handled guns. Bad parenting, I guess....

Haven't seen it, won't watch it but remaking films just reinforces my thinking- there hasn't been an ORIGINAL idea in hollyweird in decades.
Then there is the hypocrisy of the actors making millions per movie while using firearms and telling us we shouldn't have them.
Nope !

Looking for shooting mistakes is the only thing that makes watching some movies interesting

He got a slide bite from a Glock. Not very likely.

That was what got me. That scene made no sense and frankly ruined the movie for me.
He could easily have had an injury in that scene that was not related to the gun biting him that he would have to hide from the police. But this was very strange.
Re: Watching the remake of Death Wish.
Well, I know that there is a guy named Taran Butler who trains actors how to shoot in preparation for movie roles. I learned about Taran while watching the History channel show called Top Shot - they would frequently bring him in to train the contestants on certain weapons. Then I found that he had a youtube channel and you can see videos of Keanu Reeves and other actors running through some shooting drills in prep for movie roles.
Also, We watched another history channel show called Hollywood weapons and the host of the show was always going to this guy named Larry Zanoff who ran a huge arsenal of weapons that were used for movies and tv shows.

Those two could easily be asked to help avoid such idiotic goofs.
