Re: Tyler Gun Works Flattop
Jim,
You remember what a beat up old gun this was! I don't know how they cleaned up the cylinder as it had teeth marks in it.
And I still have the original grip frame and stocks. I'll save them for another project.

Its stunning for sure, but also functional. That grip frame with that hammer and rearward trigger in the guard will be VERY functional to shoot some zippy 357 mags! Scott, been meaning to ask you, whatever happened to "Big Nose Kate"? Did she leave you for another man? -Tutt

I still have Kate. I just don’t take her out a lot these days. I actually haven’t shot a lot in the past few years and I’m revisiting this now.
Just FYI the front sight on this sixgun used to be very difficult for me to see as it wore pretty smooth over the years. I can see it now.

Re: Tyler Gun Works Flattop
The brass frame does so much for the looks of a gun. The color case is fantastic but that high grade French walnut makes it absolutely beautiful. Ya done good Scott !

Yes Sir, I have been absent also for quite some time. Things have changed a bit and some new interesting load data available now if you can find the components which for some of them, I did. Quickload the best investment ever, Hodgdon's annual manuals, a good and cheap 2nd choice.I actually haven’t shot a lot in the past few years and I’m revisiting this now.
Scott, I'm truly grateful you came back Sir. And I'm grateful for Jim T. being so active again also. You guys are the "God Fathers" in this forum. We appreciate your presence very much in all topics gentleman.
It's a stunning, and I mean stunning! Ruger Black Hawk, it will shoot very well for you, I have no doubt. Thank you both for coming back! You both make this forum a better place.
Regards,
-Tutt

Very Nice!

all I can say is WOW... :O
Re: Tyler Gun Works Flattop
Very classy. The early Rugers quality are superb. Giving one a custom touch, especially case colors, completes the pacakage.
