I finally have these Scout scope rails for the late model Rossi 92's that are D&T-ed under the rear sight.

The late model Rossi round barrels are drilled and tapped under the rear sight. Remove the step elevator and you will see two of the holes;

Rossi has been D&T-ing the guns for several years now. But, they never had the rails. So, I gave up on them and had these made.

I've been putting the project off for some time. Back in the early 2000's Rossi offered a scout scope rail and a scope scope gun.


But it wasn't that popular. Probably because of the ugly rubber add-on cheek piece.
After they dropped the gun they did offer the scope rails as accessory, even though the round barrel carbines were not Drilled & tapped for it.
Then somewhere around 2010-12 the carbines started coming D&T-ed. But, they no longer offered the rails. I held off thinking the would but finally decide to offer them.

Lets hope I can sell a few of these to recoup my investment before they offer them again.
