Winchester 95 SRC reissue range report

Hi

Had a chance to fire my Win 95 src reissue in 30.06 at the range the other day.Conditions weren t perfect as I was coming back from a gun show and was rushed for time and on top of that had a miserable cold plus the target I was shooting was for scope sighting in so not the best to shoot at with iron sights.I was using a mix of brands of ammo I bought at the gun show and all were 180gr loads.To my surprise the gun has a thirst for 180gr bullets as at 50yards with no adjustments to the factory settings they printed all in the black in a tight group.The girl shots where she is pointed.I can t wait to go back and do some serious shooting with it.This will be the gun I carry this year for deer.

I've taken a LOT of white tail w/ my 95/30-06. Love to pickup one of the new ones just for S & giggles. Bought it while was in college for a whopping $300. Can still hear the EX yelling at me
