Greetings all -
I'm in the market for a stainless steel 44 magnum levergun in a 20-inch barrel and am trying to decide between the Marlin and the Puma. How do the two compare in terms of accuracy? Also, does one handle 44 specials better than the other? Thanks for your input.
New to forum, with question on Marlin vs. Puma accuracy

Not sure Marlin is offering a Stainless 1894 right now... so that might make up your mind for you.

I have both. My Marlins are much more accurate than my Rossies. But the Rossi 92 is one darned fun gun. Both of mine in .44 wil shoot Mags and Spls flawlessly.
That wasn't true for the 357s. The Marlin I had wouldn't feed 38s and my Rossi wouldn't feed 357s. A trip to the gunsmith ( Stevesgunz.com) solved the feeding issue and has become one of my favorite rifles!
