OT - Prayer request

Post by Ysabel Kid »

Guys, I apologize for continuing to come to the well with so many prayer requests, but I think a bunch of you must have a close connection with the Almighty - or say prayers a whole lot better than little ol' me!

Not a good day for my wife. She called home to check on everything and got a triple-whammy. Our niece was involved in a traffic accident Friday. She is alright - bruised a bit, and shaken up, but she totaled her mom's car. They just don't have the resources, so this will hurt. Thank God she is okay.

Then she was told her sister's 25 year marriage is indeed coming to an end, as her husband has found a job out of state and informed my SIL that he will file for divorce this week. This has been a heart-breaking situation for over a year now. I hate to say it, but I am relieved, as now she can get on with her life. Still, she is in shambles.

Lastly, my wife's aunt's brother-in-law was just informed he has cancer. Not a close relation obviously, but coming on the heels of losing two cousins this year to cancer, it is not what she needed to hear (and needless to say, not what that family wanted to hear either).

So, if you have a moment and can drop a prayer for our relatives - and my wife - I'd appreciate it.

Thanks guys!

Thank you for asking, that is what christian friends do for each other.
