Leupold changes the reticules out for less than $50 and quick.

I love my Ruger SR9c, never failed to go bang and cycle, fits well, not to small, just a nice pointing pistol. I use a kydex holster inside the pants with a small metal clip, slight tug on the shirt and it is covered. It was made by COM Center of Mass, I also got a mag holder fromthem. www.comkydex....

I have shot three elk with a 308 and been with a buddy that shot one also with a 308. The 308 round works well. One was even a "texas heart shot" at slightly over 200 yards, granted it was a yearling but still a nice sized elk. That one was with a BLR. The others were both lung/heart shots...

There are quite a few very good optics availble now in the mid price range. I would suggest that in the store where it is bright don't get fooled by the light gathering. Try to look into a dark corner of the store. I would also suggest that a 8 x 46 are the best for elk hunting with a great balance ...

I fold mine so the map's name is on the bottom right corner, then stack them in a box. Easy to flip through to see whichone I want.
