Nice, anyone who brings out a rifle chambered in the 348 Winchester gets a tip of my hat. I sure wish NEF would make one in their Handi-Rifle. What Are Winchester M94 Trappers Going For?
I've got a Winchester M94 Trapper sitting in my closet. It's of pre-safety vintage with a saddle ring and in very good to excellent condition. It's chambered in 30-30 Winchester. I've shot it less than 60 times and it was nearly new when I got it. It has only one flaw, the guy I bought it from put a...

This topic was inspired by the "Rossi Ranch Hand" topic and my desire to not hijack it. Okay, I must be enlightened. What does one buy a mare's leg for? Within the few seconds thought I've given to this gun I've not been able to determine one practical reason for owning one. To me it's kin...

A 250 grain load at 2,300 fps is as near perfect a load as one could want for heavy non-dangerous game. This load's balance of bullet weight and velocity will likely produce the outstanding results. From there, as you go up in weight you will come down in velocity. And because the M71's overall cart...
