Yea the prob with chees cloth is it's inconsistent.

I did the search but couldn't find anything I could see just one layer of. They all seem to show it folded up. My problem is I still need visibility through it. Maybe find some white and dye it beige?

How well does this combo work? Am curious of loads at all levels. I have a Savage target rifle I never use and am considering selling it off to buy a pistol cartridge levergun. I was in 72-75 and all I ever saw were 20 rounders. Never knew a 30 rounder existed then. Even then we were told to only load 18, at least in boot camp, after that we always loaded 20.

We used M14 pouches though. Kinda an odd transition the military does.
