Today looking at my dealers catalog, they showed the tin bulleted 22LR round nose and hollow point loads at a dealer price of $6.41 for a box of 50. Seems it was a little cheaper at 5.81 a box if you buy a case. Expensive plinking stuff for sure. ATB

Marlinman hit it right on the mark. Some years back I picked up a version of a Winder Low Wall, bore looked bright and it was properly roll marked 22 Long Rifle. If all else fails, contact Marlin and ask if you can get a replacement part. The will usually help you out. I have had pretty decent luck with them. The new barrel band will likely have a sling stud for the quick detachable type sling mount. ATB
