Used to play around with red dot in reduced loads. It was awful touchy at the top levels. Stuck the bolt on my 788, but gun wasn't hurt.

I don't know if you are into measuring rim thickness, but it can make a pretty good difference in keeping down the fliers. Especially at 100 yards. Normally one thickness will shoot a little better than the others also, they can vary .002+ with some ammo.
