I don't know if you are into measuring rim thickness, but it can make a pretty good difference in keeping down the fliers. Especially at 100 yards. Normally one thickness will shoot a little better than the others also, they can vary .002+ with some ammo.

Anyone ever had the chance to shoot or play with one? I have a chance to trade into it, thought maybe it would be fun to play with for awhile.
I would think 2,500-2,600 fps with 85's would be possible with the 24" barrel.
Dunno, will find out tomorrow it the deal goes through.

Always wanted one, but never as cheap as I wanted to spend. Anything close to $500 would be a deal nowadays. 5 1/2's aren't to bad, but I always did like the 4 5/8.
