Used to play around with red dot in reduced loads. It was awful touchy at the top levels. Stuck the bolt on my 788, but gun wasn't hurt. :o

I always though they said to put an o-ring between forearm and barrel, but I never tried it.

I don't know if you are into measuring rim thickness, but it can make a pretty good difference in keeping down the fliers. Especially at 100 yards. Normally one thickness will shoot a little better than the others also, they can vary .002+ with some ammo.

Back 30 years ago when I could see iron sights. My anschutz 1413 with tenex wouldn't have beat that by much. Good shootin 8)

Honestly at 530 this morning I've got about 1 1-2 miles to the highway. Oh about 3/4 mile down the road I ended up highcentered. These words were not the words I uttered. :lol:

Anyone ever had the chance to shoot or play with one? I have a chance to trade into it, thought maybe it would be fun to play with for awhile.
I would think 2,500-2,600 fps with 85's would be possible with the 24" barrel.
