Recall a suicide attempt I attended one night involving a shotgun. For some reason the guy varied from the norm & instead of putting the muzzle to his chin or head, he put it against his chest. Don't know which exact birdshot round he used, but a birdshot hunting load it was & from his hunt...

If a BG in my house can run after 8 loads of hi-velocity #5 shot he deserves to get away.
My house isn't that big, so shot distances would be kinda cozy.

But I'll bet he leaves a healthy blood trail for follow up.

Factory ammo (Federal blue box 170 grain) prints exceptionally well with my model 94 at 50 yards.
The holes darn near cloverleaf.
Dead is dead, either from store bought or roll your own.

A fellow in Minnesota wants to buy my Winchester model 94 Trapper in .357 mag.
He sent me a check and his receiver's signed, current FFL.

What next? He wants me to ship USPS.

Thanks for any help. If this works out I'll post my Browning B92 .357 for sale.

IMHO, most of the prices given so far are current boom market value, I predict a falling price on the 71 rush in the next year or so. I don't see you giving $3K for a 71 in any condition other than in the factory box and 99%, where you could ever recoup your money in the next decade. My opinion is:...
