Finally received Roy Jinks letter on my OOM Russian. It was part of the first Russian contract but rejected by the Russian inspectors, barrel was re-stamped with the English markings. According to Jinks the piece was shipped to M.W. Robinson New York City probably to quote the letter on 19 September...

Well its 86F and raining, this last two weeks we have had 6 inches, the first real rain in nearly nine months so we aint complaining at all, everything is starting to turn green again and in this part of the country the fire risk has diminished considerably.

I have used rice for years without any problems. Change it regularly thats all. Sometimes a rice grain will lodge in the flash hole, but when I clean the primer pockets I just run a paperclip end through the flash hole, removes anything stuck in there that the decapper may have left by forcing the g...

We dont have elephants in Australia, but what we do with the other critters like camel and other tough eating species is to put em all in a big pot, stir gently for 24 hours, then add 200lbs of central Australian rock, its gotta a lovely red colour, stew for another 24 hours, drain, then eat the roc...

Dunno about you folks, but I prefer a kettle that does good homebrew beer, my wife makes a mean drop its good to drink too. No tax either. The sights do get a little fuzzy after a couple of pints!! Must be a problem with the cane sugar. They gotta stop spraying the stuff!!!

Pretty much what the others have said. As to magazine capacity, as far as I am aware in Queensland the restriction is 10 for handguns, I dont own any semi-autos at this time, prefer the wheelguns. Its Christmas eve here, temp 92 and clear. Its been over 100 most days this last two months, so looks as if Chistmas will be a little cooler, 25th will also be aound 92 and warming up towards New Year weekend.
