MM93 helped me out when I bought mine , also a first year 1936. Maybe he'll chime in. The first model 1936 was just a Model 93 with cosmetic changes like the stock and forearm shape , and maybe sights (?) . I believe all the internal parts are the same as the model 93 as well as ( some / most) parts...
