Rechambering a Marlin 336C in 308 Marlin Express
From what I understand the 308 Marlin Express is chambered in firearms based on the 336 action. Can a 336C be rechambered to 308 Marlin Express? I am a sucker for full length magazines and barrel bands, although guns without barrel bands are probably more accurate. Would it be easier to buy a 308MX,...

I use a natural gas furnace here in CA. I have a fireplace I have never used as it draws more heat out than it provides. One of these days I will get a gas firelog that with modern design will actually add heat. Of course every time I have enough money for the firelog it mysteriously disappears for ...

I saw a You-Tube video of the ML being fired from the shoulder. I got to wondering if adding the thickest Limbsaver Recoil Pad would change the legality of owning such a weapon. Re: Bolt mounted Peep sights to replace the ugly Rossi 92 safety
I think that the Skinner Sight should work well. The 275 gr Barnes XPB bullet in 480 Ruger is light for caliber and should shoot low compared to heavier slugs moving slower. It should work slick with the fiberoptic front sight that came with the gun.

A few thoughts. In the case of the 30-30 Imp, if you fire regular 30-30 ammo you get a fireformed case. In fact it expands to the chamber size which is what you want it to do in the first place. It is only when you took that fireformed 30-30 Imp case and resized it to its original 30-30 shape that y...
