Reloading for the .35 Remington

Why wouldn't a reloader use the factory formula for this ammo, seeing it has been so successful with game animals? I have an older Lyman manual that has a factory duplication load in it. I saw Midway USA now has some new Winchester brass for this caliber but, is very expensive.

Marlin 336 stock variations?

Will a stock off of a 336 made in 1971 fit on a 336 made in 1966 (both pistol grip rifles)? What years has Marlin changed the fit to rifle of their stocks? Or where can I find this information?

Actually, the term 6 oclock hold comes from using the 25 yard handgun target and putting the top of your front sight at the bottom of the black and then hitting the center of the X ring? Approximately 3" above the top of your front sight.

piller, when you say what your rifle likes are you talking acciracy or game killing ability? The only time I thought a .22LR was loosing accuracy was when it needed cleaning? My opinion is lead bullet at velocities of LRs actually lap the bore with each passing? Never known one to wear to the point ...

Origianally, I posted some derogatory statements about the hardness of Bucks and then deleted them. Then I read deeper into the thread and found out that the trouble with overseas manufacturing at Buck was caused by the state? One final thought; wouldn't it have been cheaper to go into another state...

Yep, I like to daal locally also. Shipping costs usually put the price above my budget especially Ebay and other online services. I doubt most sellers on Ebay are gun people and definately don't know guns?
