And I'll stick by my opinion that this group is an unorganized mess with a lot of non levergun BS going on.

Kinda like looking inside my brain.
Seriously, this is Pacos forum and I am a guest here. It is not my preference either
as I would at least have an Off Topic category. But... I would not enter Pacos shop and tell him how I would prefer he lay it out. I am happy to do it Pacos way HERE.

I come here for leverguns, reloading levergun cartridges, hunting, and old revolvers. Doesn't seem to be a heck of a lot of that here right now. Guess I'll skip checking in here until October or November rolls around. :|

You're welcome to your opinions. And you're welcome to come and go as you will, as long as you do so politely. Just like everyone else on the forum. As for "how things oughta be" - some time ago there was a similar complaining by a select few on another forum. Take a look at the experiment I ran back then.

Sixshooter Community Forum
http://disc.yourwebapps.com/Indices/208184.html

Sixshooter Community Lite - Guns Only Forum
http://disc.yourwebapps.com/Indices/231281.html

A select few were complaining about how there was "too much religion, politics and off topic posts" on the regular forum. So we set up an identical one with "gun and shooting related topics only". Guess which one is STILL going strong? It sure wasn't the sterilized "guns only" forum... look at the two and see which one's still got posts from September on the front page.

So, you're welcome to your opinion and you're welcome to seek the fulfillment of your desires "out there". A word of warning though. You'd probably better wait 'til AFTER November to check back - this being a presidential election year and all... Things will likely get REAL off topic as the race heats up.

The door's still open and we welcome contributors. Rather than "no one's talking about what I want to talk about", you might try starting a thread on a subject and following through on it. You just might be amazed at what all you could learn by positive contribution as opposed to criticism and complaint.

And as I've mentioned to other folks before, not trying to chase anyone off - just pointing out what is apparently not that obvious to some - there's a service called http://www.godaddy.com where you can pick up a domain name for less than $10 a year. I know where you can get a good deal on hosting that domain name. You could then have http://www.ONLYlevergunsAllowed.com or some other such domain and run it to suit yourself. You build it, people will come, just look at the poll on "how'd you get here" that is somewhere on this site. Most folks "surfed in" via Google or ???

So you can complain and bellyache or you can contribute. You can be a part of this forum or start your own. Or you can go find someplace that meets your expectations. This is the internet, it's still a relatively free country. :)

Everything "AmBraCol " just said can be boiled down to the phrase:

"Don't let the door knob hit ya where the good Lord split ya"!!

"AmBraCol" has too much civility and class to flat out say that but I don't.

A "MESS" is when you've been helping the attractive widow lady next door with her lawnmower and you've spilled some oil on your pants and you are standing in her kitchen in your skivies with your pants in her hand as she tries to get the stain out and your wife walks in un-announced.

THAT's a MESS!!!!!

I'm fairly new posting here although I have read the forum for quite a while. I don't find anything objectionble about the way the forum is set up. If it looks interesting I open it up and if not no. The only difference between this and other forums is that here i only have to open one page to get the news and not Marlin levers, Winchester levers Whitney levers, ect. If I really felt that things wern't run right I guess I would start my own forum and do it the way I felt it sould be done.

Just my 2 cents.

I've been out of the loop so long I dont have anything levergun related to post. I havent posted anything on my blog in over a year as I simply ran out of stuff to talk about it seems. I need to change all that! Hi guys!
