My Valentine's Day

Post by Chas. »

I thought I would get my wife something frilly to wear for valentines day,so yesterday I went to Victoria's Secret.Told the sales lady what I had in mind, she said -great, we'll start with a bra. What size does she wear? After a little thought,I replied-Oh,about a 38 long. It went down hill from there.

Learning experience - I'll stick with flowers, candy and mushy cards - wouldn't touch feminine apparel as a gift for fear she might take that as my being critical of her choices -

Consider the classical difference between men's and women's - in answer to a simple question, "Where did you get these steaks?"

Male typical answer -"At the Safeway"

Female typical answer - "Why - is there something wrong with them?"

It's in their genes to be somewhat defensive - paranoid - sort of - maybe "sensitive" is a better term.

Clerk: "What size is she?"
Customer: Seven and a half, I know because I measured.
Clerk: What did you measure with?"
Customer: My hat.
