At the urologist ...

Post by Bill in Oregon »

Heard this for the first time this morning, directed at me. Might as well laugh as cry.
After dismissing his young blonde assistant, the doc said, "Bill, "I'm afraid we'll need to check under the hood and in the trunk."
 :?

I'll be praying for you Bill. I got that call from my urologist in the summer of 2002. In the spring of 2003 I went through 9 weeks of radiation. Since then my PSA is always comes back 0.035 or something like that. It was kind of hard to hear him say that I had prostate cancer, but when I turned it over to the LORD I went through it ok. I had a great church family praying for me too.

Jerry, no problems with cancer, just a swollen prostate and medications having major side effects. May have to grin and bear a T.U.R. P. ...

I've been known to say "well, since we already have the hood up, may as well check the oil while we're here..."

The phrase has pretty universal application regardless of gender. :D

Not a big deal, get it. Will seriously cut down on bathroom trips and you will get more sleep at night. An added benefit is you will win all the p***ing contests with your buddies!

Once you have a scar "in there" it will need periodic re-reaming...... No personal experience, but what Docs have told me.
