Gotta love those wheelguns!

I've never owned and probably won't own an auto pistol. I like me some SAA.

If I were to get a gun for concealed carry, it would be something in .357 mag with at least a 4" barrel and a double action. Probably a Ruger.

Say, a friend of mine had some fancy ammo loaded up in his H&K .40 S&W that had a nylon looking ball in the hollow point. He said it "was like shooting a .357 magnum; around 1450fps."

I bet they were very light, maybe 80 gr or so. The only downside: they cost $1.25 each round!

If I didn't already have a love affair going on with the .30-30, I'd have gone for the .35.

You can sling plenty of lead with it if need be, and load it with lighter projectiles for longer-ish ranges.

158gr LSWCHP loads for .357mag with 2400 and Lilgun

Handloaders reloading data says 13.8gr of 2400 is the starting load but shows fps at 1290.

These are cold swaged, prelubed Magnus bullets I got in trade. Is 1290fps ok or will I get fouling?

Also, the loads for Lilgun started at 17.0 and had around 1500fps... Will this foul in my 6.5in Ruger BH?
