Never seen one like that before, very good find 6.
You can send up to North Dakota for the proper break in procedure. Oh, maybe send the required 10,000 rounds of ammo too.
No thanks needed, anything for you.

Re: reloading questions on the 300 BLK
Appreciate the info. I was thinking Nosler 125 grainers at about 2100 fps in a 8"SBR. I wasn't sure if the boat tails would behave in this setup. With the right powder and a little over loaded you might get 2100. I doubt it, but :o Maybe 1800-1900. I haven't chronographed anything yet so I can...

I've only used processed brass so far. Lee dies no problems, yet. I tried 17.8 grains WW296 with nosler ballistic tips out of my 10.5" pistol and groups were not quite twice as big as hornady 110 vmax load.
I haven't had anymore time to play with it yet.

I just finished building one and am in the process of building another...AR's, I discovering, are fun to put together... :) They are very addicting. I was pretty sure that the barrel markings were way earlier than 336's. And serial # didn't make sense either.
I'd pay $350-$400 for that gun just for the caliber, but $800+, I don't think so.

I quit counting .44's at 4500. And I know I got more out in the garage.
I knew it was over 2500, but over 5000, I guess I've accumalated for 30 years.
Maybe a little better tracking system needed.

Realistic number of cartridge cases w/bullets and or loaded
Guys,
Going through some of my stuff tonight.
What would be a reasonable amount of let's say .44 mag. 357 mag. or maybe 30-30 or even 30-06 and for giggles .45 acp.
I really think I may have a problem.
Is 1000 each crazy? 2500? How about 5000+?
Wondering mind needs to know.

Seven (7) grains of 231 under a 250-255gr lead bullet does great. The ammo brochure that used to be available from Winchester (1985) lists 7.1 gr of 231 for the .45LC with a 250-gr bullet, for 875fps, 13,000 c.u.p. (I don't figure one-tenth of one 7000th of a pound makes much difference, and 7 is a...

Couple years ago I sold my 44 for $700 and my .357 for $950. I wouldn't budge on either one and someone else still wanted them more than me at the time.
Might bring more than that by 30-40% nowdays. I haven't watched them lately.
