Last fall I bought 3 cases of flat black spray paint for our silhouette range, got 'em at Wallyworld. The grey haired lady who checked me out had to see my ID to make sure I was old enough. We shared a chuckle over the situation, as we were about the same age.

JWG, if you are installing a tang sight, have you considered just putting a dovetail filler in the rear sight dovetail, Brownells has them for just a couple bucks or so. You were correct on measureing the front.

Yesterday, Friday, we had 29 shooters at our weekly Smallbore Lever Action Silhouette shoot. Perfect weather, started off at 0830 at about 60 degrees and about 80 by noon, with mild breezes.
