I went ahead and used the Lexol, and it made a great difference in the suppleness and feel of the leather; the squeak is gone, and all in all it seems like a new rig now. Show this past weekend had primers priced at $40 per K, no exceptions I could find. They were mostly Winchester brand, though I saw a few CCI and some off brand I've never seen before in a white box.

I sure hope that $40 isn't the 'new normal' price.

That 22WMR cylinder is hardly a paperweight. The two single-sixes I've shot were much more accurate shooting the WMR instead of the LR.

The 22WMR turns the little six into a whole different beast.
