Wow, started at about $124 a month. Minimum wage was $1.40 so a month's wages would be $224. Then again, we worked overtime and weekends for free, so figure it worked out to say 12 hours a day (being nice here), figuring at time and a half for overtime, a civilian minimum wage earner would get $392....

Did some work on a couple of Fed prisons during and shortly after the construction. Had a shot at the work after they were populated and turned it down. I don't need the hassles. Might think about getting a ORH (one ragged hole) rear sight. You'll never get the pretty groups you got as a youngster, but it makes using iron sights for a few more years possible. In addition, I've found they are very fast.
