Modoc Ed - you're gonna have a ball!

It may take a coupla hundred rounds for everything
in the gun to break in, and your accuracy may suffer
a little bit until it does. That gun has plenty of power for
hunting pests.

2400 is a VERY versatile powder and has been around

44 Special is an overlooked round these days. Everybody has
