Just swapped a 10 1/2" one for a nice Colt 1911 last week!!
Still got my 7 1/2" one in "patent leather" blue, first centrefire handgun I got, way back in the early eighties. :D :D

I agree with Gunny.....interesting concept but......why is it even needed when brass is cheap and easily worked? "No trimming required?".....since 1972 I can't remember trimming any handgun brass except trimming down 44 Spl. to 44 Russian or others I've played with. It's like they are fix...

loaded 350 30-30 rounds for the start of the IHMSA season here (couple of months away yet!).
29.6gr 3031 with a 150gr Hornady FMJ (bulk) 11 times fired Winchester brass trimmed and chamfered.

I have an 1889 in 44-40 manufactured in 1892, bore is crummy but it shoots really well!!
Also got an old 1894 manufactured in 1908 in 44-40, another good shooter!!
Love those old Marlins :D :D

I may have been bitten by the AR 15 bug :D was at the range yesterday (cold) and a young guy there said "hey, try this out" it was a Troy AR with a 10" barrel and muzzle brake, a real hoot to shoot :D :D . He had lots of 223 so I had a big pile of empties to pick up!

I have had a lot of good luck with Garmin. Started with an eMap many years ago then upgraded to a 60CSX which was really good, it even survived a 60mph fall from a truck rear bumper!!!! I now have a Montana which is a really great unit. It does sound like their customer service sucks though!!
