You're forgetting that possession of a lead round, whether you have a gun for it or not, is illegal. Some areas have this wording: Establish that it is unlawful to possess any projectile containing lead in excess of the amount permitted and a firearm capable of firing the projectile while taking or...

Re: Civil Disobedience in CA
Ok, what with this CA lead ban, I'm thinking we're all worrying too much about it. I plan to comply with the regulations, but, should we go crazy to toe the line? Traditionally, dumb laws get ignored, and we're going overboard to comply I think. Remember, California is the home of civil disobedienc...

I can still remember the times when folks would get up and walk out of Church is that hymn was sung. It used to greatly p*ss off my ex when I would sing Dixie at mass when the rest were singing the BHotR. Once I really confused a fellow next to me who was trying to listen to me because he didn't kn...

If detectives are making a traffic stop, you can bet there was something else going on. Considering the inaccuracy of most news reporting, I'll bet there is a lot more to this story than what' been reported. What always fascinates me about these types of threads is how readily the posters will accep...

Correct. My father was a LEO, and I was privledged to grow up with many federal, state and local LEO's in my life - as well as military. All would have loved to be able to prevent crime - to be there instantly when trouble arose to save the innocent. Reality is that they simply can't be - and the f...

I don't think he was slamming law enforcement for not being there and failed to do their job. I think he meant individuals are responsible for their own protection first. I'm going to leave it at that until I know differently. You are thinking correctly. No insult to LEO's was intended. Been in LE ...

I've used both regular and large loop. I've never noticed any difference in speed of operation. I view large loops the same way others view color case hardening, nickel plating or engraving. They don't add anything to the functioning of the firearm, but if you like it, fine. If you want a large loop...
