Did you think that you cut your scales too short? You seem to be asking if the should extend to and countour to match the fingerguard. That is probably not done that much. Look at the other knife pics you posted- the scales stop well short of the fingerguard, and are rounded. In addition they slope ...

Isn't there a feedback mechanism on AA? I think I would first write to them and point out in detail the deficiencies that are NOT consistent with a 99.9% rating, and ask for their explanation. Of course it's up to you whether you want to keep it or not. Then if you don't get satisfaction from the se...

One more tidbit- if you have analog TV's and/or VCR's and you get your signals from an antenna, then you won't have any signals to receive after next year. BUT you can get add-on tuner boxes that will let your old analog TV still work, and in fact you can apply to the goverment for a coupon that wil...

The tiltrotor has a linkage between the 2 sides so if one engine fails you still are able to turn both rotors. Otherwise I don't think it could fly with just one motor. Well maybe it could fly a little bit in airplane mode. My sister, now retired, worked at Bell when it was being developed so she kn...

I shot on the archery team in college, so my idea of archery is a recurve, and pulling the string with your fingers. They are very good knives but they aren't magic. A good knife with collector value is not going to be cheap, but if a person is asking the "is it worth it" question, then the knife might not be worth it for them. Not doubt Randall's ARE worth it for other people. If money is an object, the...

and they are very beneficial for hunting in bad light conditions.

Most important is to be careful and take your time. Concentrate on what you are doing and do not have any distractions around. I think the 20" Winchester 94 is best. A lot of them have been produced over a long period of time. It has some of the best attributes of a levergun- handy , reasonably accurate, powerful enough for most hunting. Of course the 92 came first, the 86 is more powerful, the Marlins might be more ac...
