It should fit any of the newer 94s. You might need to relieve a little wood here or there or use a little acuglass for a perfect fit. I usually like to relieve a little wood at the very back of the tang, especially if you use hotter loads, insures against stock cracking.

You can get ceramic media from this outfit, they are good people. They sell different sizes for differant cartridges. I use the spheres.

I tried something similar but couldn't get the epoxy to hold for very long. What works best for me is to heat the carrier and bend it a little.

21 below zero this morning when I was starting the tractor to put out hay. It is up to 16 below now. It is a rare day in North Dakota with no wind so it isn't bad out there. Hydrolics worked pretty slow though.

I say it is a light issue. I have noticed with mine that on really bright days that shinny jacketed bullets don't alway read. Experiment with some card board over the screens. If there is not enough light it is hard to get a reading aswell.

My brother owns one that he bought new in 1972. I have used it on several occasions. It is a tackdriver. Used it to take a good antelope, a few deer and a whole bunch of prairie dogs.

I have used a PACT for a few years, no complaints. I wouldn't get too hung up on compairing it to factory rounds and what they say their velocity is supposed to be. No two guns will shoot the same ammo at the same vel. Too many other variables, barrel length, bore size and condition, temperature etc...

I have used both micro groove and ballard cut. Like any rifle, you just have to find the right bullet, the right size and the right lube. When it all comes together the micro groove will shoot cast as good as any.
