They reported on the news tonight that it is NOT magma moving around under the mountain. Instead, they are saying (somewhat dismissively) that it is two plates moving against one another. 1 of only 2 jacketed .44 bullets that I use for game. My #1 choice is Remingtons 240gr JSP, #2 is the 240 XTP. Great performance on both deer and elk from either rifles or pistols.
For 99% of my overall shooting AND hunting requirements are met by my cast bullets.

After 30 years of powerlifting, I have lost a bit of wrist flexibility. Therefore the pistol grips are MUCH more comfortable. However, I bet less than 10% of my leverguns have pistol grips....

For 'bout 5 decades I've used 9grs Unique and a 150 cast. Never jacketed. Faster velocities with cast, less bore wear, cheaper and just all around better than jacketed at slow(er) velocities.

Not to dissuade you from 4064, but I use 58grs of AA3100 with 250gr Barnes. Velocity is 2090fps and I get groups in the 3" range at 200 yards. I'm about to run out of the 250gr Barnes and have been casting lots of bullets to take their place. I'm NOT going to spend the money it takes now to buy...
