Sliding side windows with screens and a lil fan makes a huge difference. Much more comfortable with plywood down on the floor. For me parking on a level surface make s a huge difference in comfort.

I have shot a few coyotes with both lr and mag. All of the shots were less than 50 yards. The magnum creates a greater wound than the lr. I would guess it is because of better bullets going faster. As far as shooting lil ground squirrels and prairie dogs, it is easier for me to make good hits past 7...

That leather work looks real nice. It does not look like it would slide around at all. I mostly have straight stocked rifles and the butt cuffs seem to slide up on them and get under the lever. I am with Rusty on this. On my own lawn and on customer lawns I always recomend keeping the grass properly fed as the best preventitve for weeds. A thick health lawn makes it difficult for weeds to grow.
I have never had as much luck with the weed and feed products.

new to me Marlin 39a
A local gunshop had its bi-annual parking lot swap meet a couple of weeks ago. I set up a small table and ended up selling off a Ruger Super Blackhawk. A couple of tables down I noticed a Marlin 39.
