Another provision of the new law will grant a CCW Permit on a shall-issue basis to those who can show a history of firearms training, to include current and past military service. That's great news also.

It really is frustrating. After averaging a couple hundred bucks back each year (which strikes me as about perfect) I got nailed owing $1400 a few years back due to some foolishness at my company. I don't doubt that any significant residue would become a possible source of rust, but with Ballistol cleanup/preserving that doesn't worry me. What I like about B209 is the fact that it reportedly fouls much less than BP and that it cleans up using normal petrol, synthetic or animal oil based solve...

Well good luck with it. I remember reading some time back that Korea was releasing thousands of them and I guess they've started to show up but if they're shot out I'm struggling to understand why a person wouldn't just go with a CMP Garand.

Where did you get it? Is that a CMP rack grade? Any import marks? For what it's worth I put a CMP replacement stock on my old six-number Springfield that came with a stock about like yours back in the '90s and it really made it shoot much better. And of course it just flat out looks much better too....

2) I haven't looked, but what would the .327 Federal do that the .32 Mag doesn't? Except of course, give you a companion lever gun to go with your Ruger. I think that's pretty much it really. Easy, get a .30-30 chambered sub MOA bolt gun with a top quality scope so that you have at least one tack driving longer range weapon in your kit.
