Re: Fords new Jeep Y J
I have had several Jeeps over the years and currently have a 45 willys mb and an 02 wrangler. The wangler has 125k miles on it so I have been looking. In my humble opinion the guys running Jeep have screwed them all up and the whole bunch ought to be rounded up and casterated. What they have done is...

I must admit that my eyes get watery reading some of the posts above. They sure convince me that I am in the right place seeing others express their feelings about special frearms. Doesn't the "Judge" shoot both 410 and 45/70? I load 45 Colt with Speer shot capsules for my New Vaquero and they are great snake medicine. I wonder how the hard plastic capsule would handle a choked barrel. What choke is that anyway? If I owned it I would probably send the attachment off ...

I like slings but they are ugly on lever guns. Slings help you shoot better and make life easier when hiking. The best sling I have found for a traditional gun is the canvas web and leather sling sold by Trader Keith. Sling studs are a problem but Pacmyer makes some nice flush mount studs. I have a ...

I believe that is what Elliot S. Barker used for his entire adult life in New Mexico. He liked it so much that when he finally wore the barrel out on one he replaced it with another. Do a web search on him, he knew his stuff and was quite a hunter.

The lever change could have been both to cut costs and correct a percieved problem. The construction of the lever as a two piece part appears to be calculated to cut the cost of production as no other explanation seems to make sense. As to the other parts, there may have been other reasons. The '95 ...
